Ingredients:
Mushrooms (1 or 2 packages)
Olive oil
Garlic (1-2 cloves)
Basil
1 8 oz container Cream cheese (cooking cream cheese Italian flavored or lemon flavored)
¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese
Cooking instructions:
1. Remove the stems and finely chop them (to be about the size of a plain m&m) and set aside
2. Peel and finely chop a clove of garlic and mix with mushroom stems
3. Add about 1-2tsp of basil to the mixture and mix it
4. Heat a skillet with about 1 table spoon of olive oil, once the olive oil starts to heat up add the mushroom/garlic/basil mixture and wait for it to start to boil
5. Once it starts to boil, turn the heat to low/med and cover the skillet
6. Stir once every few minutes so the garlic doesn’t burn
7. Keep frying the mixture until most of the moisture has disappeared, then set it aside to cool
8. Once it is no longer hot, mix in cream cheese and ¼ cup of parm cheese
9. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
10. Spoon this mixture into the caps of the mushrooms
11. Place the stuffed mushrooms in the oven for about 20 minutes or until liquid starts to form under the mushrooms
