Cauliflower veggie soup

cauliflower soup

My mom used to make something similar. Great cold weather soup or when you’re feeling under the weather

Ingredients:
1 cauliflower chopped
1 carrot cut in to 4-5 pieces
5 mushrooms chopped
3-4 tbsp of pre-cooked brown rice (or 5-6 uncooked fingerling potatoes)
1 tsp basil
1 tsp tumeric (curcumin)
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 tbsp of coconut oil or olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Fill a large pot with water and add all ingredient
2. Place pot on stove on high until it boils, then turn to med/low heat and allow to simmer for 1 hour
3. Thats all!

*The red pepper flakes and the tumeric really clears your sinuses
